We started a new collaboration with Chicago-based choreographer and director Erica Mott. The work is entitled Mycelial: Networked Bodies, which uses the incredible life-giving and communicative capabilities of underground networks of forest mushrooms as a metaphor for the interconnectedness of various fractured communities. To that end, we are working on having mobile devices running LAIT be able to be assigned to different groups, and to have those groups respond to specific messages in real time. Watch the video of the first week’s workshop:
Tracing movement with sensor-enhanced ballet slippers and an app that can see the traces. I wonder if this could be an enhancement of the ballet experience?
Could be an interesting performance set for audience control: the LYT – Interactive light fixture with the Intel Galileo board. Info at https://communities.intel.com/thread/47075. Follow the link that is in this article to the Creator’s Project website for a much more interesting description and videos.
some of the links here could be pretty useful for visualization and sound production: http://hackingforartists.com

I particularly like the “RunPee” functionality :^)! The AR in the lobby is good, too.
This is an interesting concept for wearables. This could be another new variation on what audiences will be wearing as they enter the performance.
